Is Sky Star the same as Nylon Wool?

Both are nylon, but Sky Star is a specific weave — deeper pile and the sparkle surface. Nylon Wool is the plain, everyday version at the same price.

Does the sparkle wear off?

It is in the fibre, not a coating — it stays as long as the mat.
