Measured set vs universal fit — what actually matters
Honest version, including when the cheap option is the right one. We sell both: universal fit (EVA AED 120, pile AED 280) and measured sets. The difference isn't the material — it's the fit.
| Situation | Universal fit (AED 120–280) | Measured set (from AED 250) |
|---|---|---|
| Beach sand | standard shape — gaps at the tunnel let some sand through | cut to the floor — sand stays on the mat |
| Water / AC condensation | may run off the edge onto the carpet | held on the mat; wipe and done |
| Pedal safety | no fixation points — check it sits clear of the pedals | factory fixation points — the mat can't move |
| Look | visibly aftermarket | edge-to-edge, looks factory |
| Rental / short-term car | ✔ right call — universal fit EVA, AED 120 | measured EVA (AED 250) if you keep the car longer |
| Your own car for years | replaced yearly | one set, years of service |
Short version: a car you'll hand back in three months deserves a universal fit EVA at AED 120. A car you own — a set cut for its floor. Universal fit, explained → · What 5D means →
